With his fourth release on Turbo Life Tapes, the Basel-based co-founder of the label presents a complex EP with six carefully orchestrated tracks. On „Sparkles * Spotted“, Superpuma translates his love of experimentation and affinity for the unpredictable into musical moments of ordered chaos that, like twinkling stars, create the paradox of disconnected unity.

„BAZILLA“ introduces the EP with a smooth flow, accompanied by nostalgic record crackle, and gradually transitions into a multi-faceted composition that continuously expands in multiple trap-beat layers on top of a melodic bassline. „Made In M“ continues the research trip in the form of a leisurely stroll to a gentle groove, providing an uplifting atmosphere. The third track „Throws“ captures the multiple impressions of a walk in an abstract environment by combining a moderate drum rhythm with an airy soundscape and chirping hi-hat loops.
With sloping, screeching synth interludes, refreshing moments of surprise flash up in „CYA,“ breaking up the steady rhythms. In „Rewaxcv“, a dynamic soundscape of creaking tones unfolds on a foundation of thumping drums and broken beats. Closing the EP, „Citron“ builds a stimulating sphere of bright metallic ticks and a deep bassline that appeals to the basic instincts, assembling a multitude of overlapping layers of sound into a complex jungle vibe.
